We are looking for an experienced
Software Architect - Advanced Process Control and Optimisation
To explore Model-Predictive Control and Digital Twin Technology.

Your expertise will be a cornerstone in furthering our client’s digital transformation journey, aligning technological advancements with actionable insights to drive continuous improvement in food production processes.

Your Role:

• Lead a team of software engineers to create a software platform, developing new control algorithms like state estimators and model predictive controllers.
• Create a framework for understanding and improving industrial processes.
• Work with system architects and app developers to improve the system to meet the framework’s needs.
• Work with frontend developers to create new Human Machine Interfaces for the framework.
• Help control application developers set up high-level controllers and align new software requirements.

Your Background:

• Strong focus on software engineering and scientific computing for advanced process control.
• Experience with object-oriented programming languages, preferably Python.
• Familiar with software engineering tools and methods, like Scrum and Git, regression testing, and code review.
• Interest in scalable solutions and new system infrastructure technologies.
• Understanding of typical automation setups, from the sensor to algorithm to actor.
